Job Description:
The Production Machine Operator III in is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts. This role involves helping set-up machines, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting complex issues. Production Machine Operator III ensures that production targets are met while adhering to safety and quality standards. Additionally, Production Machine Operator III will lead process improvements, mentor junior operators, and collaborate with management on strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With assistance set-up automatic or semiautomatic machines and operate according to production specifications.Clean and maintain work areas, tools and molds in order to maximize equipment downtime through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S.Fabrication, processing and assembling of various products according to MCI's (manufacturing control instruction), blueprint tolerances and specifications. Perform work with close tolerance and finish requirements and have a general knowledge of standard machining techniques.Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.Perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.Maintain accurate production records and reports.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.Provide training and support to junior machine operators.Help lead the development and implementation of process improvements.Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Assist in the planning and execution of production schedules.Work closely with management to develop and implement strategic initiatives.Serve as a technical expert and resource for the production team.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Abide by defined plant and department safety policies.Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Supervisor/ManagerJob Requirements:
Qualifications:
HS Diploma/GED and 3 year of related work experience (injection molding or similar manufacturing environment) or 4 years of related work experienceExperience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Excellent communication in English (Reading, writing, and verbal) and teamwork skills.Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and eyesight required.Advanced problem-solving skills Able to read and interpret two-dimensional engineering drawings and blueprints.Proficient time management/ sense of urgencyProven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior operators.Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.Abilities:

Working hours and shifts will vary and are dependent upon the work cycles of the manufacturing operations as required by business needs.
