This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.

Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.

Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.

Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or similar engineering.

6+ years of experience in similar positions such as Production Leader / Assist Manager / Production Coordinator or similar.

Experience managing +6 production supervisors.

Experience in metal mechanical transformation processes, bending machines, presses, molding, painting lines (power coating), or similar.

Knowledge of rotation schemes and training plans for operational personnel.

Experience conducting operational forecasts.

Knowledge of production KPIs, overdue, safety, scrap, and production rate.

Experience leading operations crews of +200 people.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.

Lean manufacturing tools.

Advanced English level.
