**Production Lead** Shift: Monday to Friday from 6:30AM-3PM & 3:15PM-11:45PM Pay: $25-29/hr Location: Abbotsford, BC Job Description As a Production Lead for the day shift, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Production Associates and work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will coordinate tasks, uphold safety and quality standards, and foster a positive team culture. Responsibilities + Organize and coordinate daily tasks for production crews to meet operational goals. + Train new team members on role-specific tasks and safety procedures. + Monitor and enforce quality control and safety standards. + Conduct regular safety training and hazard assessments. + Promote continuous improvement in work habits and production processes. + Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, escalating as needed. + Perform hands-on production tasks including assembly, testing, and equipment preparation. + Operate assembly lines using hand and power tools. + Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Detail, clean, and lubricate equipment. + Align belts and perform quality control tests. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Lift up to 50 lbs as required. Essential Skills + 2+ years of lead hand experience. + 6 months in a mechanical production or repetitive environment. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Wiring experience is a plus. + Forklift experience, especially with narrow aisle forklifts, is advantageous. + Strong communication skills and a comfortability to ask questions if unsure. + Initiative, drive, and self-motivation. + Ability to set an example, solve problems, and think on their feet. + Willingness to help with any task.
