Production Lead
Ralliant
+ The Lead Associate performs a range of tasks depending on the composition of the team and cell/building initiatives. Generally, the Lead Associate coordinates the day-to-day planning of the operation to ensure the team meets their daily production goals.
+ The Lead Associate will perform the lead tasks approximately 50% of the time and will function in their manufacturing associate capacity for the remainder of the time. The time spent on these tasks may be adjusted based on business needs.
+ The Lead Associate must be able to effectively escalate any issues to the Operations Supervisor or other key operational team members.
**Team Engagement**
+ Encourage team members to submit suggestions and provide solutions for manufacturing issues.
+ Involve team members in problem solving activities and QDIP assignments.
**Team Development**
+ Monitor associate skills and provide input on training and cross training needs.
+ Escalate any interpersonal issues/team conflicts directly to the Supervisor.
+ Provide feedback on positive behaviors for an individual or the team to the Supervisor for recognition purposes.
+ Monitor the team’s performance and provide input to assist the Supervisor in completing associate’s performance reviews.
+ May train team members based on their expertise in the subject matter as assigned.
+ Promote good behaviors by coaching and mentoring team members.
+ May attend operational meetings on behalf of the Supervisor.
**Lead Associate major responsibilities include (but are limited to):**
**Operational Management**
+ Track daily production activities and escalate any problems to the Supervisor or other key operational team members.
+ Assist in scheduling and level loading operations to meet the operations performance metrics using tools such as: Crystal Reports, and other Visual tools.
+ Monitor QDIP process and review performance through the daily metrics. In addition, monitor relevant KPI’s.
+ Help ensure that Safety policies are being followed by all team members and escalate any problems to the Supervisor or other key operational team members.
+ Monitor cell/building-specific actions (RAIL items) to ensure timely completion.
+ Monitor accuracy of build paperwork.
+ Monitor and drive standard work processes.
+ Assist in Failure Review Board issues as assigned.
+ Actively work with the team to identify and work on continuous improvement projects as assigned.
**Qualifications – External/internal:**
+ Minimum Associate Level II position for at least one year –Must have excellent communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
+ Must be a self-starter.
+ Must be organized.
+ Able to work with minimal supervision.
+ Good problem-solving skills.
+ Lean and 5S knowledge desired.
+ A minimum of 1 year experience directly with the assigned operational team preferred.
+ Some customer interface experience preferred.
+ Computer skills a plus: Microsoft office products and Visual business systems.
**Education and Experience:**
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

**Bonus or Equity**
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
**Pay Range**
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 52,200.00 - 96,900.00
**Is this role subject to ITAR?**
