Job Description

Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.

Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair, and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.

Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement, and optimization of standards, processes, and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety, and compliance.

May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals, and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.

May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.

Works with engineers to develop, execute, and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products, or processes/systems.

Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.

May design and/or build tools.

Qualifications

May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1+ years of relevant experience for entry to this level.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $26.78 - $41.84/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
