Responsibilities Assist supervisor with proper staffing of department. Providing directions and training for all employee's. Identify causes of downtime and complete trouble shooting to reduce downtime. Assuring all products are within grade and meet quality specifications (following standard work) Performing routine line tours to ensure equipment and line are running efficiently. Ensure paperwork and data input into the system (SAP) is accurate. Thorough understanding of all positions within the department. Assuring the proper documentation is being performed through the shift on Red Zone (Metal detector, Shred head inspections, etc). Effectively communicating relevant information to fellow employee's on the shift and to on-coming employee's at shift change. Ensure good housekeeping is being done througout the shift. Relieve for breaks when necessary. Back up to Supervisor (vacation, sick, etc). Must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts. Must be williing to attend off-site training. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management and conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality and personnel safety. Join and be a member of the SRMP team. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school Diploma Solid computer skills (Word, Power Point, Excel, Etc) Skill for recognizing new opportunities and problem solving. Ability to work in a multi-task, deadline orientated environment. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization. Bi-Lingual is a plus
