Production & LCA Manager

Job Summary:

This position requires a thorough knowledge of Flowserve's products and services. The Production Manager ensures that deadlines are under control and determines if it is necessary to outsource processes or work overtime to meet delivery dates. The Production Manager manages the availability of manufactured parts, purchased parts and outside operations to align with Flowserve's workforce. This position reports to the QRC General Manager or Director of Operations.

Responsibilities:

P&L: resource, expense and margin management.QRC's planningProduction: Lead the transformation of QRC's to design, develop and maximize resources to accommodate production. Lead the implementation of CAPEX. Lead the change of HR operations (new hiring, training, process definition);Sales Support: technically assist the sales department to pursue new opportunities in the area of responsibility.Develop, coordinate and implement a plan with the End User Sales Team to achieve yearly targeted LCA business growth objectives and aftermarket bookingsCommunicate effectively with Flowserve management to foster support of new and innovative initiatives to improve the LCA program for customer growth and retentionActively participate in new and renewed program rollout meetings, annual review meetings, and transition planning with the LCA Execution TeamCoordinate with End User Sales to renew existing alliance agreements with a disciplined, win-win approach to ensure Flowserve’s financial and business goals have been metCoordinate with Global Account Managers to gain corporate support for new growth initiatives, and collaborate with other regional LCA Development Managers to leverage business strategies globallyOther duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or 7 or more years of related experience.   Advanced English (written and spoken)Experience at least 5 years of total P&L responsibility including standard cost systems, manufacturing operations and product development.Excellent technical knowledge of Flowserve products.      Familiarity with financial and operational reporting, metrics and performance management systems.Strong leadership skills, especially the ability to influence an entire organization and build high performing teams.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes is a must for the position.Ability to travel 20%
