Job Overview:

The Linde Gas United States (LGUS), Hydrogen (HyCO) division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking an Intern - Production Technician at the Whiting, IN hydrogen / CO2 production facility.

The intern will be trained and developed towork side-by-side with the plant's current Production Technicians.You will aid in operating the equipment associated with multiple Hydrogen reformers, a CO2 removal / liquefaction plant, and various distribution systems.

Responsibilities:

Duties will include:

Adjustments to process variablesStartup and shutdown of process equipmentPreparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-outCorrectly and safely permitting maintenance workConducting quality checks for merchant productsMonitoring equipment performance.

Must know when to call qualified operators when completing assigned duties.

Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be available.
