Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Transfers eggs from incubators to hatchers.Processes chicks according to schedule.Clean hatchery after processing chicks by washing and disinfecting hatcher racks, plastics and boxes.Loads eggs into incubatorsAccurately completes paperwork associated with job tasks.·         Willing to work a split week approximately every three weeks which consists of M & T 12:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. and TH & F 5:30 a.m. – 4  p.m. 

 

Other duties as required. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:·         Some ability to add and subtractAbility to lift 50 pounds repetitively.Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.Ability to work well with others.Absolutely no exposure to other poultryMust be willing to euthanize any unhealthy chicksCan not be exposed to any type of poultry, birds, ducks or geese.
