Job Title: Production Flex Associate

Shift/Hours: 1st shift (6:30am-2:45pm)

Essential duties and responsibilitiesComply with all federal and state environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company-specific safety policies and protocols.Participate in structured, rotational training across departments, including clean room and non-clean room operations, molding, and finishing areas.Operate production equipment such as mills, extruders, and molding presses following standardized procedures and safety protocols.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) protocols.Prepare preforms for molding by performing tasks such as cutting to length, weighing, washing, bagging, and organizing.Inspect and deflash molded parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications.Store, retrieve, assemble, and clean molds and transport molds/tooling as required.Record all production and quality data using the GT data collection system and complete necessary SAP transactions accurately and timely.Maintain clean workspaces and equipment by following established housekeeping procedures (e.g., 5S).Achieve training and performance milestones as outlined by the company’s cross-training program.Perform duties in compliance with the Company’s Quality Policy (ISO 9000).Complete assigned daily tasks and special projects, including accurate timekeeping and activity reporting.Participate in improvement initiatives and cross-functional team meetings when scheduled.Other duties as assigned to support production and business needs.This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be modified at any time based on business needs.Training & ProgressionMust successfully complete company-assigned training curriculum for each designated department.Progress will be reviewed at defined intervals (e.g., 30/60/90 days).Associates must demonstrate competency through hands-on assessments before moving to the next department or being scheduled in a new area, within the discretion of the company.Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functionsWillingness to work in various departments and shifts, based on scheduling requirements.Commitment to achieving and maintaining certifications in quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO 9000).Must be proficient with operating computer including searching, saving and editing files and ability to use data collection systems (SAP experience preferred).Maintain annual QC certification or any other certification required to perform the role.Physical requirements    Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as:Safety glasses and safety shoesAbility to work long periods of time in a standing positionAbility to occasionally work in positions requiring twisting, stooping, and grasping.Capable of adapting to both sitting and standing workstations.Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds without the use of mechanical lifting devices or help from others.
