Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a function focused on the optimization of the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment. Each day, you will ensure that the production process aligns with the project targets, approves the design, both for internal or external developed processes and performs the final test in accordance with the project’s data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the efficiency of all external production processes.The work model for the role is: #Li - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the IEC LV Motors in Faridabad.You will be mainly accountable for:\t•\tEnsures that the production process aligns with the project targets, approves the design, both for internal or external developed processes and performs the final test in accordance with the project’s data.•\tDefines production costs and the sequence of the working phases of a new production process to minimize cost and maximize quality.•\tDevelops and proposes the estimated budget of investments necessary for the development of new products and processes.•\tSupports the Supply Chain Management department in selecting suppliers, evaluating the technology and capacity, and determining the best option.•\tCooperates with R&D or international teams in the optimization of technical standards and supports engineers in the definition or configuration of new design rules.•\tEvaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering\tOver 15 years of hands-on experience in production engineering, specifically within the manufacturing of IEC Low Voltage (LV) motors.\tProven expertise in designing, optimizing, and managing production lines for IEC LV motors with strong understanding of winding, assembly, testing, painting, and quality assurance procedures.\tProficient in analyzing production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and performance gaps.\t Capable of generating actionable insights and detailed reports for senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.\tDeep understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes, particularly in the production of IEC LV motors.\tProven track record in enhancing manufacturing workflows, reducing production time, and optimizing quality control.\tStrong problem-solving skills to address complex production challenges, leveraging engineering knowledge to improve performance and innovation.
