Role

Develop & implement methods to determine and to optimize resources for daily plant operations i.e. People, Machine, Space, Material and Information & Projects execution for improving PQCDMS

4.Layout Planning & implementation for New projects & layout improvement for Existing Area
5. Execution of Work Content Efficiency Projects & productivity improvement projects.
6.Planning & Execution of monthly IE Activities

A Day in the life

1. Planning & discussion with stake holders
2. Make technical proposal
3. Preparation of equipment Specifications and Project Schedule.
4. Equipment concept & design approval.
5. New equipment RFQ release
6. Equipment initial and final trial at vendor end
7. Equipment installation and commissioning
8. Handover to concern department,
Equipment & process monitoring for 3 months after commissioning.
1. Planning, proposal & discussion with stake holders
2. Make final technical proposal
3. Preparation of project schedule.
4. Process/new system concept & design approval.
5. New process/system design implementation
6. Special Projects like IT Integration Projects
• Supervise the manufacturing function and meet output targets.
• Accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
• Manage smooth and timely operations of Assembly line.
• Lean Manufacturing -Continually looks to make efficiency improvements to products, systems, operations and processes.

1. First level discussion with stake holders
2. Make final layout
3. Layout approval
4. Layout Implementation
5. Special Projects
1) Idea generation for any improvements leading to process improvements or manpower reduction.
2) Facilitation for implementation of ideas to get required results
3) NVAs elimination
4) Line Balancing for increasing man utilization
5) Identification and implementation of Low cost automations.
6) Recommendation for addition/ reduction in Manpower.
1) Compile manpower requirement for each month model mix.
2) Recommendation for the addition / reduction of MP
3) Finding reasons for deviations.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B. Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering
8-9 years of experience in Manufacturing (Engineering department)
3Wheeler/Green Field Production Preffered
 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Design:- AutoCAD software,

Application- SAP

M/C operations, tooling knowledge, CNC programming
FRD’s M/c, Robotic Cell
Machine Planning Sheet
Other:-- Drawing reading, manufacturing knowledge, Industrial Safety Norms Knowledge, Advance Excel, Power Point, Word
