Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join the team. This role requires a strong presence on the production floor and a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about lean manufacturing, process optimization, and cross-functional teamwork.
Job Description:
- Maintain a consistent presence in the production facility to support daily operations
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve workflow issues, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions
- Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve production efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of new tools and best practices
- Identify design and build issues and generate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs); manage document revisions
- Participate in recurring cross-functional meetings to support deadlines and product development
- Maintain documentation such as work instructions and process improvement reports
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics (e.g., production time, downtime) to identify areas for improvement
- Adhere to companies engineering processes and documentation standards

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87/hr.
