The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting daily production activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring operational efficiency. This position is responsible for maintaining operating procedures, coordinating training efforts, conducting quality control testing, and managing production documentation and reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute positively to the sites overall operational performance
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, efficient production techniques
Coordinate training and skill-based evaluations for operations team members
Maintain controlled documents, including company policies and procedures
Perform daily Quality Control (QC) testing of finished products and raw materials
Record and input quality test results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for product release
Prepare daily production orders and create finished product labels
Enter daily production confirmations into SAP
Support a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Drive continuous improvement efforts and support Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives
Adapt and respond flexibly to meet team production goals
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Some manufacturing experience required
Performing general physical activities - Using arms and legs, walking, stooping, handling materials
Lifting materials up to 50 pounds (required)
Wearing personal protective equipment as required (gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes & hard hat)
Standing for long periods of time
Working in an unconditioned space
