Responsibilities You will document and maintain configuration control processes, procedures, and materials manufactured for an organization. You will inform supervisor of any unexpected developments in the repair process or rescheduling efforts to resolve production issues You will resolve production scheduling problems and expedite production completion deadlines. You will carry out established production control assignments following production controls and procedures. You will comply with schedules and project milestones to facilitate timely project completion. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrate knowledge of production processes, established methods, procedures, and labor and material requirements to support production control assignments; 2) Assist senior production controllers and independently manage simple, repetitive, or routine production control tasks; 3) Perform assignments involving standard, uncomplicated aspects of production control operations; 4) Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with personnel across various sectors of the industrial organization. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position requires rotating shift work. This position requires evening and weekend work. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
