What You will Do:
Daily Tier review attendanceWork with supply chain team to effectively management of the escalation process for both internal and external supplyReview materials availability (X-Chart / Mismatch)Support Supervisor in managing Lines of Balance for each Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) within their responsibilityDevelop production and kitting plansManage work order release in line with MPS requirementInventory control/accuracyManage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occursManagement of Engineering change introductionManagement of SAP inventory transactions in line with agreed processesWorking with Production Execution Team, production schedules, materials, and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to all CustomersCapacity Analysis using business tools, identify risks and opportunityCommunication of all customer delivery commitmentsProvide daily updates on delivery misses and capture root causeManagement of KPI’s as requiredInvestigate customer reschedule request and analyze MRP / Sales Impact and communicateSupport Monthly SI&OP Process with data input and meeting discussionsSupport team in the use of ACE tools (5s, TPM, Turnback collection)Work with suppliers and internal network to mitigate gaps in material supplyProvide timely communication to manufacturing, engineering and other relevant internal functional personnelAnalyze and evaluate bids to select best supplierIssue and update purchase orders in SAPExpedite partsEvaluate vendor reliabilityTrack daily supplier shipmentsPerform price justificationsContract/Purchase order knowledgeControl the flow of incoming materials to efficiently meet manufacturing requirementsHow You Will Get Here:
Bachelor’s degree in business/operations/supply chain or equivalent experienceExperience and demonstrated success within a planning roleProficient in SAP Planning and Shop Floor ExecutionGood understanding of SAP Inventory ManagementExperience in generating and communicating capacity plansStrong communication and influencing skillsStrong analytical skills with advanced MS office skills (VBA Advantageous)Understanding of business KPI’s and financial goalsAbility to work to deadlines, prioritize workload and teamworkKnowledge in manufacturing operation systems (ACE/6 Sigma)Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CTThis is a first shift opportunity starting at 6:30/7:00 AMYou must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hoursShop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbsCitizenship requirement: Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, only travel requirements will be to and from the customer facility
