Job Responsibilities:

Monitors customer releases for changes.  Coordinate customer claims through the Nascote Sales Admin.Coordinates inter-departmental scheduling.Schedules plant inventories and cycle counts.  Monitors inventory accuracy.Monitors vendor releases and deliveries.Effectively communicates with customers.Motivates direct reports to perform their work with a high degree of quality and productivity.Ensures employees receive the necessary training to perform their jobs, keeping them informed of changes or new requirements.Ensures direct reports’ compliance with all safety, quality, environmental and BOS policies and procedures.Assists direct reports by coaching and counseling as necessary per company policies.Conducts performance appraisals on direct reports in a timely manner.  Applies disciplinary actions as necessary.  Ensures fair and consistent treatment of employees.Maintains attendance records and approves time sheets.  Approves vacation schedules.Provides technical support to employees in the department.Recommends the necessary skills and training programs for assigned employees.Maintains strict confidentiality in all employee related matters and information.Contributes to a healthy, positive and safe work environment.Maintains an acceptable attendance record.Responsible for supplier delivery ratings and inventory control analysis.Supervises:  Scheduler-Expeditor, Schedulers, Expeditor, MRP/EDI Coordinator.Sets up and monitors EDI needs.Participates with various launch programs.Promotes the maintenance of a clean and safe work area.Conducts department meetings and ensures documentation is recorded and maintained.Leads and/or assists Project Teams, Task Forces, Employee Activity groups, and Safety 8D Teams as required.Completes documentation of activities as required.  Requisitions necessary supplies.Implements lateral moves, postings, layoffs and recalls in department as needed.Submits cost reduction and Innovation ideas and encourages direct reports to do the same.Writes department procedures.Pay Rate $75,000-$78,000Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
