This Position reports to:

Production Manager


 

To manage procurement, production planning support, and order processing to ensure timely, accurate fulfilment of customer orders. The role bridges communication between production, suppliers, and customers, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Work model: #onsite

Manage general procurement activities, generate and process purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, and expedite urgent or overdue items.

Support the Production Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring production to ensure customer orders are fulfilled professionally and on time.

Design, produce, and maintain planning reports and Overdue Reports, analyse delays, and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.

Organise and maintain accurate documentation, including Proof of Delivery (POD) and consignment manifests, and address supplier invoice queries.

Proactively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, providing regular updates on project status and addressing product returns and RTS processes.

Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for purchase order management and ensure Engineering Acceptance Notes and related documentation are current and shared appropriately.

Qualifications for the Role

Solid understanding of order management, procurement, production planning, and dispatch processes.

Previous experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) in a warehouse or assembly environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a factual, data-driven approach to decisions.

Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers.

Work collaboratively with production and cross-functional teams.

Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.

Show initiative and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Embrace continuous improvement and process optimisation.
