Primary Purpose:
Responsible for ordering cheese blends, pre-blend testing, adding ingredients in accurate amounts, standardizing blend testing, and sequence according to schedule and Kraft Quality Standards. Will connect with other Blender Operators, Quality, Cookers, and other Area Associates.Job Responsibilities:
Acquire and analyze pre-blend & blended samples, using the Foodscan, P H meter, Salt Titrator, or current test method. Monitors production schedule to determine quantities of cream, anhydrous and various powders and ingredients needed. Analysis of raw material deemed vital to test for controlling a production process during that production. Responsible for notifying the appropriate personnel to assist in correcting a blend or any process back to target after analysis of samples. Responsible to gather all the Cream, Milk to Cheese, and other ingredients additions and input the information into the computer. Communicates with appropriate people to ensure delivery of supplies to floor. Responsible for any prestart-up checks that are required. Assist with capturing calibration samples for testing equipment. Requires the ability to work efficiently & effectively with other Blender Operator. Provide break relief as needed & advised. Assists with scraping, cleaning and inspecting for damage before filling blenders. Maintains Kraft Quality Standards by checking quality of (seals, code dates, labels, packaging of product, weights, color, temperature of product, etc.). Record keeps as the need arises on manual, computer and other systems. Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft Quality Standards are maintained in the work area. Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in MES applications. Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions. Sanitation Blender Deck Lead on Final Nights. Performs sanitation duties when required. Dismantles and reassembles equipment per Kraft Sanitation Procedures. When Blender Operator Job is not in operation, will return to other assignments within the Department. When only one Blender Operator is needed due to volume, the least service member of two Blender Operators will revert back to other duties in the Department. Performs other duties as advised by the Leadership Team. Must maintain processing equipment by applying the IL6S system and settings. Performs variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc. Assist with R&D Trials as needed. Communicate closely with Filling & Cooking. Perform & document all Period Cleaning items for equipment as the need arises. Coordinates the job duties or changes of duty during shift operations. Responsible for accurate decisions and advising the proper personnel when there are problems. Train new or inexperienced associates! Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc. Perform recordkeeping as the need arises on physical, digital or other systems. Includes performance Boards & RAIL items. Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.Minimum Requirements:
·Knowledge: Basic math, reading, and communication. Working Environment: Primarily indoors; humid, wet conditions during sanitation.Qualifications:
·Able to acquire a fork truck license.Physical Requirements:
Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead; lifts, carries, pushes, lifts and grips objects; climbs stairs, routinely moves barrels up to 500 pounds; routinely lifts 50 pound bags; must possess manual dexterity vital to operate equipment and disassemble and reassembleequipment.
