Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for cleaning assigned equipment and for cleaning and ensuring Kraft standards associated with AMF /Cream/Alginate/Lactic Systems and nightly cooker scrape-out are met. Days and shift times vary.

Job Responsibilities:

Dismantles, cleans and reassembles assigned equipment according to Kraft standards and Team Leaders directions. Circulates lines, ensures Kraft cleaning parameters are met; velocity, temperature, times and soap strengths. Performs tests to confirm cleanliness; plug checks velocity checks and temperature checks and soap testing. Leads clean-out crew for nightly scrape-out of cookers. Responsible for all documentation associated with job. Responsible for inspection and follow-up with sanitation and maintenance items. Relieves other personnel when needed. Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions. Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area. Salvages product as advised, from equipment. Recordkeeping as the need arises on manual, computer and other systems. Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in MES/SAP applications. Assists in starting up lines as needed. Must be able to communicate both verbally and written. Has a good understanding of sanitation policies and procedures. Responsible to ensure all period cleaning is complete in assigned area. Ensures associates’ in area complete all documentation! This is a sanitation leadership position that will enable a person with skills for future growth! Performs other duties as advised by the Leadership Team. Must maintain processing equipment by applying the IL6S system and settings. Performs variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc. Will be involved in improvement opportunities (IL6S) teams. Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes. Responsible for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document. Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

·Knowledge:  Basic math, reading and communication. Working Environment:  Primarily indoors, in a wet, humid and steaming sanitation environment.

Qualifications:

Able to acquire Fork Truck License.

Physical Requirements: 

·Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting and reaching to both ground level and overhead ·Lifts, carries, pushes, routinely pulls and moves up to 500 pounds ·Holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity vital to operate equipment and disassemble and reassemble equipment.
