Quanex is looking for a Production Associate to join our team located in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM & Friday 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM, plus any required overtime  

Salary: $18.00+ per hour, pay based on experience

In this role, you will work in a team, fast-paced environment in a variety of areas assembling various components based on customer specifications.  This can include running equipment that machine parts for cabinet doors at an entry level.

What Success Looks Like:  

Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met.  Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.  Follows safety procedures and guidelines; and notifies others of existing or potential safety issues.  Assists in other work areas when workload permits or requires.  Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.  Thoroughly complete all documentation, such as production reports.    Assemble various components based on customer specifications and quality standards.

 

What You Bring:  

High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.  At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.  Manual/finger dexterity skills.  Ability to lift 25 pounds.
