Responsibilities Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure the product qualify is maintained. Report to Management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Inspect product for defects, foreign objects, etc. Keep work area clean. Calculate cheese amounts needs for production schedule. Effectively remove bulk cheese packaging for production. Operate proper equipment (hoists, "big joe", pallet jacks, barrel dumper, etc) Remove trim barrel and weigh trim. Attendance is a must. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent communication, time management, and work ethic. Willingness to work efficiently and safely. Ability to work independently and/or in a team setting. Desire to produce a quality product. Communication and interpersonal relations as applied to interactions with coworkers, superivsor, the general public. Sufficient exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. SAP exerperience is a plus but will train. Need to be able to stand 10-hours and to lift 40 pounds continuously.
