Production Associate\n

Overview:\n

Responsible for monitoring overall production cycle.\n

Key Responsibilities and Duties:\n\nPerforms cleaning duties. Sweeping and moping floor, and cleaning production area\nContinuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position\nComplete quality testing as required and log all analysis properly on the respective pick slips\nMonitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment\nAssemble and prepare goods for shipment\nComplete quality assurance testing on goods and products\nMaintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses\nMove materials or completed products and packages to established locations\nFollow instructions as directed by supervision\nPerforms other job duties as assigned.\n\n

Ergonomic Conditions:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, push\/pull, use of material handling equipment, hand tools, loading and unloading and lifting up to 50\nExposure to dust, noise, oils, greases, hazardous materials and other debris.\nMust have good hand eye coordination to use tools such as knives to cut cord and yarn.\nEmployee must wear steel toe shoes, work uniform and hair net for protection. \n\n

Qualifications:\n

Must be at least 18 years old\n

Education: \n\nHigh school or equivalent (GED) degree.\n\n

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities\n\nMust demonstrate competency and proficiency in the following skills and\/or abilities.\nProduct and Equipment Knowledge.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers and employees.\n\n
