The Production Associate in Loves Park, IL will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.
Job ResponsibilitiesAbility to train and certify forklift and tugger equipment and move material throughout the plant using forklift/tugger/hand truck equipment.
Refill Kanban bins and deliver to appropriate area. Perform basic machine cleaning tasks. Operate an electrical lift, as needed. Handle a variety of different part numbers.
Inspect both the process as well as final assemblies for quality requirements. Monitor and report part shortages in the production system.
Able to rotate and cross train across production areas and workstations, including material handling as determined by supervisor to meet business/customer needs.

Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or 3 months related experience of Danfoss products is required.
Valid Class C, or higher driver’s license (for backup truck driver) Ability to communicate verbally and understand written instructions in English.
Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)
Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand). Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics. Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques.
