Your Role: 

 

The Production Associate 1 manufactures and packages products for the Life Science business unit resulting in customer satisfaction, compliance with applicable governmental and environmental health agency regulations, and achievement of internal production objectives; partner with Planning, Quality Assurance, Distribution, and Upstream Operations to assemble products in final configuration to meet customer needs. This role may have occasional overtime as needed to meet production requirements.

 

Area clearance tasks and maintaining separation of product. On-time Manufacture of products as needed per Planning department. Perform standard and new operating procedures. Collect and record data on documents and batch records where needed. Utilize computer hardware and software for data entry and record keeping where needed. Ensure compliance with all Quality and Regulatory specifications. Participate in production failure investigations. Contribute to overall manufacturing performance metrics: Productivity, customer satisfaction and quality improvements. Support process improvement through identification and reporting of areas needing improvement and assisting in improvement projects. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with personal computer hardware and software in a business environment (e.g., Microsoft Office products). Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and other applicable data bases.Support 6S programs to maintain a lean work environment. Comply with applicable established cGMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and Quality System regulations. Submit work orders.

 

Physical Attributes:

 

Use of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, use of automated devices and equipment designed to reduce repetitive stress, etc. Follow ergonomic limits set by management per health and safety requirements.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

 

High School Diploma or GED 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

Previous experience within a laboratory (cGMP) environment or lab coursework.Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create clear, concise written reports and accurately complete batch records. Data verification skills. Experience writing and/or editing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as experience reading and accurately following written procedures. Adherence to Quality and Regulatory requirements/programs. Attention to detail. Basic math skills and knowledge of the metric system. Good organizational skills. Experience adapting to rapidly changing business circumstances and thriving in a constantly changing business environment. Working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems; Oracle/SAP. Experience working in collaborative and team-oriented environments.Experience performing On-the-Job Training (OJT) for New Hires and/or Cross-training of existing employees.

 

Pay Range for this position: $51,000-60,000 per year
