Production Assistant (Penguin General)
A great new opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join the Penguin General Production team as a Production Assistant.
Penguin General publish a broad range of books from prize-winning novelists and top 10 bestsellers in many genres including lifestyle, business, history, crime, literary and popular fiction, with a wide range of authors from Richard Osman, Barack & Michelle Obama, Bernardine Evaristo, Kiran Desai and Paul Murray to Emily Henry, Dolly Alderton, Yael Van Der Wouden and Meera Sodha.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the Penguin General backlist catalogue, focusing on books that are no longer new releases. Oversee the production of titles transitioning from hardback to paperback. Collaborate with internal colleagues and external suppliers to deliver reprints, reissues, and non-trade deals within budget, on schedule, and to a high quality. Handle all aspects of production, including estimating, scheduling, quality checking, and managing content updates for both print and eBooks. Utilise strong IT skills to ensure the success of the role.

Salary
£27,500 plus benefits.
