Pay: Based off experience starting at $19.92/hr +

Required Shift:

Day Shift: Monday- Friday 6am- 2:30pm

Job Purpose:

The Production Assistant is responsible for running successfully and safely a set of machines, equipment and/or processes within their working area in the manufacturing plant. 

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or above1+ years experience working with manufacturing equipment and machinery

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs) &  pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs).Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms.Able to read, write, speak and understand English

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of hand on experience working in the manufacturing industryMechanical or technical trainingFork Lift driving experience

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.Carry out routine operational tasks including starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handoverRepair mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.
