Monday to Friday  - 08:45 am – 5:00 pm
6-month fixed-term / Permanent

Our client is seeking a Production Assistant to join their busy production team. The role involves assisting in the production of glassware and other laboratory consumables manufactured.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and organised individual to work in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
Shrink wrapping and labelling of productsPreparing packaging and product shipmentsCleaning and preparing products and work areasTube capping and boxingAssisting with stock control of raw materialsOperating pedestrian lift truck to load/unload productsAssisting with incoming deliveries and transferring goods to a secondary storage facility when requiredWorking to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standardsFollowing the methods, processes, and procedures of the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemRequirements
Previous experience working in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)Computer literacy with Microsoft Office productsFamiliarity with GMP standards (desirable)Strong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to keep concise and accurate recordsTeam player with good interpersonal skillsIdeally educated to GCSE level in Science and Mathematics or equivalent qualificationWhat’s On Offer
