About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Production & Sanitation Operator to join our team. This position offers variety, with responsibilities split between operating automated production equipment and performing sanitation duties when production is not running. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can adapt to different tasks, and takes pride in keeping equipment clean and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Sanitation Duties (Primary when production is down):

Clean production line equipment, building interiors, and occasionally building exteriors.

Follow sanitation schedule using an electronic tablet to track completed tasks.

Safely use ladders, step stools, and occasionally scissor lifts for cleaning high areas.

Maintain cleanliness standards to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.

Production Line Operation (Primary when production is running):

Operate automated production line machines (can winders, seamers, fillers, case-packers, palletizers).

Keep machines supplied with raw materials and assist with equipment changeovers.

Perform quality checks and monitor for product defects during operation.

Cross-train on multiple pieces of equipment to become a flexible team member.

Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. as required by specific machinery.

Pay and Shift Pay: $20/hour + $3/hour shift premium Shift: 1st and 2nd - four day work weeks!Requirements

Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.

Basic computer skills (tablet use for sanitation schedule).

Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working at heights occasionally.

Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Previous production or sanitation experience is a plus, but training is provided.
