Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** The objective of this position is to provide management and engineering services for the Southern Alberta Pipe Operation with the goal of maximizing sales & return by making Lafarge Pipe the supplier of choice through our quality and service. Reports to the Design and Marking Engineer of the Southern Alberta Pipe Operation. Works with Clients, Sales Team, Production Supervisors, Design Team, Quality Control, and suppliers **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** + Lead the planning of implementation of awarded projects. + Responsible for providing customers with service, product, schedules, alternatives, special designs, availability, follow up, field visits, trouble-shooting etc. to meet their needs. + Lead finished product inventory management - Ensure product stock can cover direct demand from customers while maintaining low DIO. + Understand customer’s requirements and work with operations/sales/engineering to schedule production. + Responsible for all schedules given to customers and all work orders issued to production and shipping. + Work with foremen and QC to ensure product is ready to ship to meet customer deadlines. + Regular jobsite visits to ensure customer needs are met. + Provide technical support for the use and design of our products to customers. + Review market share and product profitability for new product development. + Assist the Sales Team with sales & marketing efforts where required. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** Graduate from a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology Program. **Additional Education Preferred:** N/A **Field of Study Preferred:** Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. **Required Work Experience:** 2-5 Years of experience in a similar role. **Required Training/Certifications:** N/A **Required Technical Skills:** Microsoft Suite and Google Suite. **Travel Requirements:** 0-10% **Additional Requirements:** + Knowledge and experience would be considered an asset within: + Consulting engineering industry. + Design approvals with municipalities and/or governments. + On-site construction experience would be considered an asset. + Ability to make rational decisions and resolve conflict. + A team leader with excellent negotiation, communication and people skills. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Strong computer technical aptitude to learn new systems and programs. + Self-starter / Problem solver / Self-disciplined. + Good presentation and interpersonal skills. + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
