Production Administrative Assistant
Job Title: 3rd Shift Production Admin Job Description We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Production Admin to support our scheduler/planner and assistant operations managers with clerical tasks in an administrative office setting. This role involves managing various administrative responsibilities such as creating daily production schedules, handling inventory, and ordering office supplies, including hair/beard nets for the plant. The successful candidate will also be responsible for opening and closing production batches, gathering temporary hours and reporting them back to agencies, and assisting with visitor check-ins and calls. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Sage is essential. Responsibilities + Open and close production batches. + Create and manage daily production schedules. + Assign lockers to employees. + Gather and report temporary hours to agencies. + Conduct inventory checks and order office supplies. + Greet visitors, manage check-ins, and handle phone calls. + Utilize Excel for data entry, charts, and graphs. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). + Data entry and administrative support experience. + Intermediate skills in Excel, including sorting/filtering, and creating charts/graphs. + Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Sage). + Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1+ year of office experience within a manufacturing environment. + Experience in opening and closing production batches. Work Environment The role is based in a front office environment where you will have your own desk and work in a closed-door setting. You will greet and check in visitors, but will not be required to work on the production floor. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) for 1-2 months. After training, the position will transition to the 3rd shift (Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM). The role requires working every third weekend of the month, with two days off during the week. Enjoy a casual dress code, with jeans and sneakers allowed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
