We are seeking an early career Product Steward Chemical Management Professional to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting in the oversight and management of chemical substance regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the Americas. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in a chemical management role and a knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) in the US and CEPA (Canadian Environmental Protection Act) in Canada.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist in ensuring compliance with regional chemical regulations in the Americas, including TSCA and CEPA, as well as LATAM regulations. This would include assisting with the preparation and submitting PMNs in the US, DSL notifications in Canada, low volume exemption submissions, and meeting reporting requirements for authorities.
+ Active monitoring of regulatory information sources (Federal Register, ACC Information sources, news, etc.) and communicating applicable information to various internal stakeholders.
+ Suppling information required to run and maintain or improve regulatory processes needed to support the businesses’ right to operate and sell.
+ Utilize data analytics to support efficient data mining, organization, and communication of the data to the broader team.
**Qualifications**
+ Preferred BA/BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Bioengineering, Biological Science or other comparable technical field or comparable experience
+ 3-5 years of experience in chemical management or a related role.
+ Knowledge of TSCA/CEPA regulations.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated interest in regulatory matters.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
+ Experience chemical inventory submissions.
+ Working knowledge of SAP
+ Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Knowledge of global and regional chemical regulations beyond the US and Canada (e.g EU REACh, Korea REACh, etc.).
+ Fluency in Spanish language is helpful.
