**Job Summary** As a Product Specialist (T) you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality microservices and Java web services. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your role will involve ensuring the seamless integration of services within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain enhancing our product offerings and contributing to the companys success. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain microservices and Java web services to ensure high performance and responsiveness. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. + Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications. + Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance. + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. + Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment. + Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality. + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. + Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including security and data protection standards. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies. + Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. **Qualifications** + Possess strong experience in developing microservices and Java web services. + Demonstrate proficiency in software development best practices and methodologies. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Have a good understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. + Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. + Display strong communication and collaboration skills. + Have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 7 years of relevant experience. **Certifications Required** Certified Java Webservices Developer Certified Java Microservices Developer Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
