Overview and Key Functions

We are looking for Product Specialist with expertise in market research and data analytics, who help us to build the future.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, the Product Specialist is responsible for monitoring the evolution of the company's products, as well as the generation of actions to prepare the company for the objectives of reaching and maintaining market niches by increasing market share, guaranteeing the integral profitability of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement portfolio strategies associated with each of Prysmian's business units.Lead the process of preparing the company to address current and future market niches from a product perspective.Lead the market research necessary to identify customer needs, market trends and map the competitive environment.Establish the product road map, according to the business strategies for the next 4 years.Make the necessary business cases for the incorporation of new products, services or any other topic that is additional to the company's portfolio.Lead the strategy for new product launches, including pricing, positioning, market niche, go to market.Actively participate in the processes required by R&D to improve the current portfolio or the inclusion of our products.Maximise and monitor the profitability of the portfolio.Monitor the performance of the portfolio from the perspective of volume, profitability, customers, market, price, etc.Establish the go to market strategy for each of the company's portfolios.Develop and maintain updated portfolio applications, and the tools that are derived and necessary to achieve business objectives.Support the commercial activities necessary to achieve short, medium and long term sales objectives.Map and monitor the competitor's portfolio understanding differentials, disadvantages and advantages for the company's portfolio.Train customers and sales teams on the company's portfolio.Generate content for the company's portfolios.

Who We're Looking For?

Professional in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or electronic engineering, business administration or related fields.3-5 years experience in related positionsIntermediate level of EnglishElectrical knowledge.Excel proficiency, analytical and data management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Buscamos Especialista de Producto con experiencia en investigación de mercados y análisis de datos, que nos ayude a construir el futuro.

Con base en Bogotá, Colombia, el Especialista de Producto es responsable de monitorear la evolución de los productos de la compañía, así como la generación de acciones que preparen a la compañía para los objetivos de alcanzar y mantener nichos de mercado incrementando la participación de mercado, garantizando la rentabilidad integral del portafolio.

Principales  Responsabilidades

Desarrollar e implementar estrategias de portafolio asociadas a cada una de las unidades de negocio de Prysmian.Liderar el proceso de preparación de la compañia para atender desde la perspectiva de producto los nichos actuales y futuros del mercado.Liderar la investigación de mercado necesaria para identificar las necesidades de los clientes, tendencias del mercado y el mapeo del entorno competitivo.Establecer el product road map, acorde a las estrategias de negocio de los proximos 4 años.Realizar los casos de negocio necesarios para la incorporación de productos, servicios o cualquier tema que sea adicional al portafolio de la empresa.Liderar la estrategia para nuevos lanzamientos de producto, incluyendo, precio, posicionamiento, nicho de mercado, go to market.Participar activamente de los procesos que desde R&D se requieran para la mejora del portafolio actual o la inclusión de nuesvos productos.Maximizar y monitorear la rentabilidad del portafolio.Monitorear el comportamiento del portafolio desde la perspectiva de volumen, rentabilidad, clientes, mercado, precio etc.Establecer la estrategia de go to market para cada uno de los portafolios de la compañia.Desarrollar y mantener actualizadas las aplicaciones de los portafolios, y las herramientas que se deriven y sean necesarias para alcanzar los objetivos comerciales.Soportar las actividades comerciales necesarias para alcanzar los objetivos de ventas de corto mediano y largo plazo.Mapear y monitoerar el portafolio de la competencia entendiendo diferenciales, desventajas y ventajas para el portafolio de la empresa.Dar entrenamiento a clientes y equipos comerciales sobre el portafolio de la empresa.Generar contenido para los portafolios de la compañia.

¿A quién estamos buscando?

Profesional en Ingeniería Eléctrica, Ingeniería Industrial o Ingeniería Electrónica, administración de empresas o afines.3 a 5 años de experiencia en cargos relacionados.Nivel de inglés intermedio.Conocimiento eléctrico.Manejo de Excel, capacidad de análisis y manejo de datos, excelentes habilidades de comunicación verbales y escritas.
