PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES **About the team: SAP HANA Infrastructure Team** Our HANA Infrastructure Team oversees construction and operation of a stable productive environment for our fully automated development process. Backed by a datacenter full of high-end servers the team facilitates more than simply Continuous Integration. The team does state-of-the-art C development based on Open Source components like Linux, Git, Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes, CMake and Python that have proven to be a solid base for large scale development environments. Additionally, our Xi’an Infra team has solid innovation background, 10 patents were successfully filed and granted, 5 papers were presented on the top global conferences in AI and Security areas. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS As a Software Security engineer in the HANA Infrastructure Team you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. Your tasks include: + Identification of security vulnerabilities in the HANA source code + Run and automate the execution of security scans + Build, extend, and integrate the tool stack for identification of security vulnerabilities + Continuously improve the tool chain with aim of consistent and reliable results + Security findings tracking with developer efficiency and code security status reporting + Communicate the results to stakeholders **EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES** **Required skills** + Master’s degree in computer science or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of working experience with proven track record in software development or quality assurance + Very good programming knowledge in at least one language (preferably Python) + Knowledge of C + Experience with Linux / Unix systems + Experience with Security testing + Knowledge of SQL + Very good analytical skills, familiarity with root cause analysis, debugging and analyzing complex problems + Ability to work well in close teamwork across international locations + Fluent English both spoken and written **A plus will be experience with** + Security testing tools (Coverity, BDBA, Black Duck, GHAS) ​ **Bring out your best** SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
