Provides expertise and guidance to sales managers for training priorities. Design curriculums, materials and development support to sales regions and to presentations at conferences or sales meetings. Responsibilities: + Responsible for planning, developing, and delivering training & educational programs/courses specific to the Sales function that enables the organization’s sales force to maximize its sales potential. + Attends to cases in sales trainings and advises salesforce on clinical attributes or techniques associated with products to improve competitive positioning through innovative sales and customer retention strategies coaching. + Applies fundamental knowledge of the selling functions to design curriculum/content (tests, visual aids, etc.), select appropriate delivery mechanisms (i.e., classroom, e-learning, webcast, etc.) and conduct training that will resonate with target audience. + Develops and monitors metrics for evaluating trainings effectiveness. + Ensures all learning content is current, copy approved, relevant to the business plan, and compliant with all government and legal requirements by working with content development leads and vendors + Selects and/or oversees vendors to develop training content or conduct training. + Assesses and addresses the ongoing training needs of the entire sales force based on sales direction. Helps to identify and develop talent. Acts as a facilitator to prepare, coordinate and deliver training programs. Trains/coaches new and existing representatives in areas of product knowledge, selling skills, administrative procedures, time and territory management. + Acts as instructional designer to design training programs, conducts follow-up of training programs, updates ongoing programs. Designs, develops, and delivers sales training course materials, including, but not limited to: new sales representative program, ongoing sales representative development, field trainer program, and sales management development programs. + Conducts in-house core training programs. Provides field sales training support to other areas. Develops and organizes specific training and development programs in various functions (for example, Mentoring Program, Train the Trainer program), and develops presentations for conferences or sales. Creates and maintains electronic or web-based training portals of training, assessment and learning reinforcement tools. + Remains abreast on trainings best practices, innovative new content delivery methods and maintains an in-depth knowledge of company products, services and policies, and ensures Sales trainings objectives align with company vision and customer needs. Experience and Education: + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, psychology, or related experience background. + At least 3 years’ experience in facilitating sales educational trainings. **Ophthalmic** experience is highly desirable. + Experience developing training materials and executing programs across multi-cultural teams. + Proactive, self-motivated, empathetic, people oriented, teamwork and collaboration. + Excellent written and oral communication skills (F2F and virtually) in Portuguese and English. Spanish highly desirable. + Facilitate workshops and is able to communicate complex topics in a simple manner. + Organizationally savvy with good stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels. + Selling/customer skills. + Current or previous project management experience is highly desirable. + Strong digital tools savvy (Microsoft business package, Axonify or similar SLM tools, Veeva, Concur, SAP, etc.). + A well-equipped toolbox in training and development processes including knowledge in adult learning principles.
