We are now looking for a

 

Product Sales Manager – 2-stroke

 

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Moschato, Greece, but also Cyprus is a possible location.

 

What you will be doing

 

For our 2-stroke Engine Services team, we are looking for a 2-stroke Product Sales Manager who can lead the frontline 2-stroke Sales activities for Marine market in Europe area. This key position is accountable for achieving the 2-stroke business results for the assigned area through close collaboration with local Sales Managers and Sales Proposal resources.

 

As Product Sales Manager – 2-stroke, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

Promote available solutions within the Area and Regional Sales organization and directly to customers Identify and evaluate opportunities, and develop and win them in close collaboration with customers and the relevant internal stakeholders Occasionally act as Capture Team Leader and ensure effective collaboration within capture teams, involving the relevant stakeholders at right time Ensure compliance with key steps in opportunity management and the sales process, and promote active use of CRM Closely collaborate with the global 2-stroke & Other OEM Service Sales Support & Development team for growth focus areas Maintain an overview of key opportunities in the Area, follow up on sales pipeline with Regional stakeholders and provide regular pipeline status reports Train and coach 2-stroke team and sales champions in the Area available and new solutions across all 2-stroke Service categories Analyze Area market and customer needs and provide feedback to the global 2-stroke Sales Support & Development team Co-develop new and/or customized solutions together with customers and the global 2-stroke & Other OEM Service functions Develop a solid understanding of customers' business drivers and identify which solutions add real value to their business Closely collaborate with Marine Business, Energy Business and the local WinGD representatives Participate in newbuilding sales meetings with Marine Business, Energy Business and/or WinGD Sales and support them in winning newbuild projects through our lifecycle solutions offering Ensure collaboration with other Business Lines to capture extended services opportunities

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

Bachelor or Master in economics, business administration or sales & marketing, paired with mechanical or marine engineering background minimum 5 years of sales and/or sales support experience in Services or Marine Solutions Preferably experienced in more complex sales activities such as service agreement or service project sales Experience in leading and coaching people, preferably in Sales Strong track record in good customer relations Existing network with marine customers Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships on all levels (good access also on CXO levels) Excellent sales and consulting skills Excellent communication skills in meetings, in writing, for presentations Skills to discover, advance and conclude opportunities Excellent negotiation skills Good understanding of Wärtsilä Services sales guidelines and sales contract templates Very good understanding of Sales Pipeline management in CRM Ability to handle and drive several, also complex sales development activities in parallel Strong in action planning, aligning actions with stakeholders, and follow up on agreed actions Fluent speaking and writing in English and Greek

 

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 40%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
