As a Product Reporting Analyst at DigitalOcean, you will work across product, marketing, and engineering teams to build and optimize the reporting and dashboards that guide critical decisions. You’ll ensure that stakeholders have reliable, timely, and accurate data, while also shaping best practices for reporting, governance, and performance optimization.

We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who can translate complex business questions into actionable reporting solutions, and who is excited to partner with product managers and cross-functional leaders to drive clarity through data.

What You’ll Be Doing: Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker to monitor product performance, customer behavior, and business KPIs. Write efficient and scalable SQL queries against large datasets in Snowflake to support analytics needs across teams. Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business questions into reporting requirements and solutions. Maintain documentation to ensure consistent data definitions, metrics, and governance across the organization. Identify data gaps, propose solutions, and proactively improve reporting processes and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues by working closely with data engineering teams. Contribute to team-wide best practices in dashboard design, performance optimization, and scalable reporting.

What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean: 3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or product reporting (ideally in a SaaS or cloud environment). Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, performance optimization, data validation). Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML, dashboard development, modeling layer). Solid understanding of product metrics such as adoption, engagement, churn, retention, and ARPU. Experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery. Clear and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to balance multiple requests, manage deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have: Familiarity with dbt or other modern data transformation tools. Prior experience in SaaS/cloud or developer-focused products. Exposure to experimentation (A/B testing, product analytics platforms). Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control in SQL or LookML projects. The salary range for this position is between $90,480 - $13,100 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
