Boeing is looking for Product Repair/Mod Technician General to join the team in Papa, Hungary.

Boeing, the manufacturer of the C-17, is responsible for contract flight line maintenance; engineering and technical support; and management and supply of spare parts.

This position is part of the on-site C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program maintenance team supporting the Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) C-17 aircraft based at Papa AB, Hungary. Applicant will participate in organizational level maintenance activities (e.g. flight line tasks including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis and component replacement, and structural repair) associated with day-today operations of C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to meet SAC mission requirements.

Responsibilities:

Participation in Intermediate level maintenance activities (e.g. back-shop tasks including component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections) will be required additionallyAssembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changesConfigures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipmentTroubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty componentsPerforms validation/verification testing of systems and components

Basic requirements:

This position is required to work one of three shifts Monday through Friday, weekends and holidays as required to support the flight line maintenance requirements.Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).This role requires to work outdoors in all types of weather condition.Required the ability to obtain NATO security clearance.Candidate must be able to obtain work visa depending on requirements of the country.Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country as applicable.All technical data to perform the tasks and training are in English. Competency in reading, comprehension and speaking the English language is necessary.
