Additional Information:
• This role is Permanent, Part time, 60hrs per fortnight.
• Applications close Friday 1 August 2025
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts (with a spread of hours from 8:00am and 10:00pm).
• You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday). Team vision ( title) About this work area Team vision (text) As Product Quality & Recovery Co-worker your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting customers on the As-Is shop floor, being curious to understand their needs and providing your expert knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
• Presenting and pricing IKEA products on the As-Is shop floor in a commercial way and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
• Prioritising giving products a second chance by repackaging them back into a saleable condition where possible.
• Regularly assembling IKEA furniture while always securing that it is assembled according to the instructions to ensure complete functionality.
• Within the store, communicating the quality message and quality reporting process to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
• Always considering the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover and recycle products.
• Building strong relationships within your team and with other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
