We are seeking an experienced Quality & Product Development expert to support Amazon's worldwide quality program. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of product quality while supporting our rapidly growing and evolving business.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive compliance with Amazon's quality, performance, reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements globally
• Implement and maintain Amazon's quality systems throughout the product lifecycle
• Develop and execute quality strategies aligned with product development roadmaps
• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning to optimize development resources, budgets, and service level agreements
• Oversee Quality Metric Trend Detection and implement preventive measures
• Manage Product Benchmark and Usability Testing programs
• Optimize test protocols and maintain relationships with third-party testing agencies
• Develop and improve product development processes and systems
• Collaborate with global stakeholders on quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
• Experience: More than 6 years in product development, manufacturing, or testing within product design, manufacturing, third-party testing, or global retail sourcing
• Demonstrated expertise in product quality and development processes across industries
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Mandarin Chinese is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, python and ability to adapt to proprietary software including Gen AI tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Business
• Experience in retail consumer products, home improvement, tools, or consumer electronics
• Proven track record in business process improvement
• Good problem solving skills: acts decisively, promptly and confidently. Not afraid to contradict others and proactively offering solutions.
• Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer
• Key competencies: A-Z process ownership; deals well with ambiguity, functions well and is able to clearly define processes in loosely structured situations; comfortable with following up on actions from others and closing the loop
• Good data analysis skill and programming skill.
• Good communication skills and Fluent in English.
