What impact you’ll make

We are looking for a motivated student in their final Bachelor's year or currently enrolled in a master’s program in Engineering or a related technical field to join our Product Quality team for a 12-month internship.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality processes across our HGP / Repair or Rotor areas and to contribute to real improvement initiatives in a global industrial environment.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Support the implementation and optimization of Built-In Quality (BIQ) processes in the Rotor / HGP / or Repair areas.Assist with non-conformance (NCN) reviews and learn about defect follow-up procedures.Participate in root cause analysis sessions with guidance and help track preventive actions.Maintain and update quality-related documents such as checklists, control plans, and procedures.Support gage and calibration plan management tasks in collaboration with senior engineers.Contribute to internal audits, quality walkdowns, and data collection for reporting quality KPIs.Participate in smaller continuous improvement projects under supervision.

What you’ll bring

Currently in the final year of a bachelor’s or enrolled in a master’s program in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Previous internship or academic project in manufacturing, quality, or process improvement is a plus.Available for a 12-month full-time internship (as part of study program or post-coursework practical training).

What will make you stand out

Interest in quality assurance and process improvement.Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Good organization and documentation skills.Team player with strong communication abilities.Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to Minitab, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.Fluent in English and German
