Job Description
Job Purpose
This position has interactions with internal and external customers for Products , will implement robust preventive quality actions to build quality into product design and processes, will develop, evaluate, revise, and apply technical product quality protocols/methods to support field complaint solving, failure part analysis, Continuation engineering projects and continuous improvement . In this role working in a matrixed and dynamic environment with creativity, attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skill are essential . Ensures compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Reads and interprets technical product documentation with understanding of product usage within customer application and environmentVerify that customer requirements are embedded into product/solution design.Develop product quality plan and strategy, by following templates and guidelines. Includes inspection criteria, process validation and test, data collection and reporting strategy.Leverage Release Milestone Placemat to determine baseline quality during pre-release.Embed Quality verifications into process design and development stages by leveraging templates and guidelines (includes assessing quality and volume capability).Performs risk assessment and implements early preventive mitigation action plans Lead issue to resolution cycles and drive field action (includes turnaround time, root cause, follow-up, disseminate lessons learned).Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and ensures corrective and preventive action planning, addresses true and systemic root cause and eliminates repeatsStrong analytical and problem-solving competency to drive performance resultsLead to review warranty data and report to drive warranty reduction .Implements dashboards and metrics to drive on-going continuous improvementApplies quality tools and techniques (e.g. Control Plan , Failure Mode Effect Analysis , MSA , SPC, 8D etc.) to drive product design improvement , supplier quality , manufacturing improvement etc .Perform regular Quality audits, prepare reports and corrective action requests and follow-up.Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical , Automation Engineering, or equivalent.A minimum of 2-3 years quality engineering experience in industrial area .Testing or product development experience is preferred.Strong technical Knowledge and experience of automation products, application etc . Be able to use a variety of quality engineering analytical tools such as Lean Six Sigma and problem solving techniques such as 8 Disciplines (8D) to assure the early identification of root cause and preventive solution of potential problems with current and new products, solutions, applications, and reliability.Be able to work within a matrix organization on a global base.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.KEY INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
