The company:

WiFi is the new electricity. Outside the smartphone, it’s the technology we depend on the most. The foundation for the modern home. The basement of Maslow’s pyramid. It makes our favorite experiences -- Netflix, Spotify, FaceTime -- come to life.

eero, an Amazon Company, is the first product to deliver a whole home WiFi experience using mesh technology to make sure you never have to worry about connectivity ever again. We believe customers deserve the best connectivity and smart home experience possible.

But at best, WiFi is like death by a thousand cuts: dead zones, painful setup, embarrassing passwords, equipment that’s a major eyesore. At worst, it's a complete failure -- usually right when you need WiFi most.
eero is fixing all of that. It’s not easy, which is why we’ve built a world-class team and culture. We believe deeply in what we’re doing, and, more importantly, enjoy doing it together. Come join us.

This role relies heavily on strong quality assessments within the manufacturing site but also with suppliers, ensuring durable root causes are understood and mitigated.

What you'll do:

- Lead comprehensive management of production quality processes including IQC, IPQC, OBA, and OQC; specifically for Ethernet switch products.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the process of NUD, PFMEA, Process Flow, and QCP are well managed prior to each NPI build phase.
- Contribute to the product quality criteria and determine if the product meets expectations from each build by emphasizing Ethernet switch-specific technical details.
- Work independently and with project team members to develop, design, control and meet deliverables, including finalizing quality plans, manufacturing documentation, inspection documentation, and test metrology.
- Perform and lead root cause analyses for complex Ethernet switch quality issues, developing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA and CAR).
Oversee quality issues on RMA line and systemically feedback CAPA to production line.
- Facilitate Contract Manufacturer (CM) audits focused on QMS, ESD control, and Ethernet-specific requirements, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Review and verify non-conforming materials to initiate and drive associated corrective actions as required.
- Contribute to final product release activities in accordance with established procedures, production schedules and gate exit requirements.
- Develop and prepare documentation, post reports, drive quality metrics and communication prior to NPI builds and Sustaining programs
- Drive respective teams responsible for issues until a decision or solution is reached
- Track issue and task progresses in JIRA and understand BOM components and layout with a PLM system (i.e. Arena, Agile, etc.)
