**Job Description Summary** The Product Piping Design Engineer will be responsible for the piping design within the Product Piping team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. This role requires a dynamic individual who can provide valuable inputs to the Product Definition Designer and oversee the review process of piping design packages. **Job Description** **Key** **Responsibilities** **:** + Develop and design piping systems in accordance with project specifications and standards. + Collaborate with the Product Definition (PDE) Designer to integrate piping design inputs effectively. + Review and validate piping design packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. + Work closely with the Mechanical team to ensure seamless integration of piping designs with overall project objectives. + Coordinate with Project Engineering and Sourcing teams to facilitate efficient project execution. + Maintain documentation and records of design processes and adjustments. **Required Qualifications/Skills:** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Experience in mechanical design engineering, particularly in piping systems + Familiarity with relevant design and engineering software tools. **Desired qualifications/Skills:** + Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. + Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. + Piping design at basic/medium level. + Familiar with: NX, Autopipe and PLM **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No GE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
