Senior Platform Owner – ESM (ServiceNow)

As a Senior Platform Owner in our Global Security and Infrastructure Services team, you will define and execute a strategic product vision that enables the evolution of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) across the organization. Your mission is to unlock the full potential of the ServiceNow platform by aligning product capabilities with business goals, stakeholder needs, and emerging technology trends. You will achieve this by leading the development and continuous improvement of digital service products across ITSM, ITOM, WSD, CSM and other ESM domains, ensuring they deliver measurable value and drive operational excellence. 

How you will help us:

Based in our Hoofddorp headquarters and reporting to the Head of Global Enterprise Service and Cloud Infrastructure Management, as part of the role you will:

Define and maintain a strategic roadmap for ServiceNow. You will align the ServiceNow roadmap with strategic business objectives, ensuring the product backlog reflects evolving business priorities and securing stakeholder satisfaction and timely delivery of roadmap milestones.

Engage with global stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure they receive excellent services. You will capture and prioritize stakeholder demands, translating them into actionable plans, conducting regular service reviews and maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.

Ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant service delivery across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.). You will strive to continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and user experience of ServiceNow services and platform operations, driving automation and self-service capabilities to improve efficiency.

Manage relationships with our ServiceNow partner. You will ensure our vendor delivers excellent service and innovation, accounting for cost efficiency, value realisation, and SLA achievement rate.

Drive adoption of CMDB/CSDM practices across regions and business units. You will maintain data quality and governance of the CMDB and CSDM models to support operational excellence and ensure consistent implementation.

Does this sound like you?

You’re a ServiceNow Platform Expert with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in an Agile/Product Owner role, including 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform. Ideally, you hold a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or ServiceNow Certified Platform Owner Associate – CPOA certification.

You have solid experience as a Product Owner, successfully defining and executing product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering measurable outcomes in Agile environments.

You possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including ServiceNow capabilities, platform governance, and best practices across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, WSD, and CSM.

You build strong partnerships, engaging, influencing, and building trusting relationships with global stakeholders at all levels as well as overseeing vendor relationships, negotiating commitments, and safeguarding service delivery quality.

You are able to define a clear, value-driven product strategy, championing change, aligning product strategy with overall business objectives, and translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and backlogs.

You are a skilled problem-solver, using data and metrics to assess impact and driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, anticipating barriers, and developing practical solutions to cloud and operational challenges.
