About the team

A team of Card Acquiring Subject Matter Experts and Product owners supporting the NAP clearing system (PSC). We are responsible for processing card present and Ecomm transactions from 147 countries in 136 currencies. We support over 400,000 SMB, Corporate and Enterprise customers and handle 39% of the UKs market share of card transactions. The Product team works closely with 10 development teams to deliver change to the clearing and authorisation platforms using SAFe methodology

What you’ll own

Work closely with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand, articulate and communicate vision and value

Champion our vision and working principles in your interactions with Business Units across the organisation

Capturing and validating business requirements

Create user stories with definition of acceptance criteria and championing the changes through development

Make decisions and accept changes delivered during iterations

Supporting the Product Managers with backlog prioritisation and management

Be comfortable bridging the gap between technology and the business

Take responsibility and ownership of products and services from a delivery perspective

Investigating defects and issues, often of a technical nature

Participate in Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, demos, retrospective and daily stand-ups

Supporting other SMEs and POs within the team as required

What you bring

Excellent Product Ownership skills

Stakeholder management and building good relationships

Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence with or without authority

Excellent communication skills, able to tailor results into language appropriate for the audience

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an eye for detail

Willingness to learn and adapt with a positive attitude

Deep understanding of Card Acquiring (Clearing and Auth Flows)

Working knowledge of Card Scheme interface specifications especially Visa & Mastercard

Experience in supporting international dual message card acquiring

Strengths in critical thinking and problem solving
