A Product Owner in the Software Infrastructure department at VOIS is responsible for managing the entire software product development lifecycle for one or more projects.
This role involves executing various aspects of software product ownership in a complex international environment, coordinating product and platform design, delivery, and managing solutions that support the demands of the Vodafone group, local markets, and partner markets.
The Product Owner ensures the implementation of software solutions within the agreed timeline and specified project costs. As part of an agile team, the Product Owner must follow the agile practices in the team to ensure implementation speed and productivity.
This role also supports Manager and Senior Manager roles in evolving clients' IT products in line with Vodafone's global architecture, collecting and clarifying requirements, defining product strategy, feasibility analysis, and implementation planning.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: Building the technology strategy and integrating it into the software product strategy and vision.Collaborating with teams managing Vodafone products to define their roadmaps.Producing and delivering the technology plan.Collaborating with product managers to agree on software product features.Working with Product Owners, Product Managers, Solution Designers, and Architects to develop detailed plans and projects.Coordinating supplier selection and subsequent interaction (functional requirements, compliance, roadmaps, performance management, etc.).Keeping up-to-date with relevant technological trends and supplier development directions to ensure clients benefit from the latest technological advances and the best experience.With these skills you are a great candidate: Degree in IT&C or similar.3-5 years of experience in a mobile telecommunications company or a global technology company.Good understanding of middleware concepts and technologies.Good knowledge and experience in Single Sign-On technologies (Open ID, SAML, OAuth, etc.).Good knowledge of web technologies and microservices, mobile networks and 4G/LTE and 5G technologies, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, and GCP).Experience as a Product Owner using a scalable agile methodology.Skills in coordinating end-to-end solution design and virtual team coordination.Experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS), e-commerce platforms, digital channels, mobile/fixed telecommunications services, and mobile applications.Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, familiarity with agile process development methods and tools.Project management skills.Fluent in English (written and spoken).Exceptional track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.Experience in managing multiple and complex projects throughout the entire project lifecycle and development.Extensive experience in managing projects in international matrix environments.Solid experience in IT project delivery management with specific experience in infrastructure implementations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to discuss with both clients and internal teams for successful delivery of results.Sounds like the perfect job?
