Product Owner – Healthcare Analytics Solutions

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of analytics-based solutions within the healthcare domain. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring our solution delivers actionable insights to both end customers (e.g., providers, payers, patients) and internal consulting teams. The ideal candidate will possess healthcare domain expertise, a strong understanding of analytics, and the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, data science, and business teams.

Product / Solution Roadmap 

Define and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with company goals and healthcare industry trends. 

Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. 

Partner with Product Leadership and Consulting leadership to align on strategic goals and positioning. 

Lead future state visioning ensuring an AI Forward approach in fully embracing the latest opportunities from AI technologies in Analytics. 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

Gather and synthesize input from healthcare consultants and provider personas shape product features for new value streams. 

Serve as the voice of the customer and internal stakeholders to ensure product alignment with market, consulting and operational goals. 

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos. 

Requirements Gathering & Analysis 

Lead the end-to-end requirements gathering process, engaging with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate both functional and technical requirements. 

Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria that are clear and actionable for development teams. 

Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with system architecture and data infrastructure. 

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to uncover latent needs and clarify solution scope. 

Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle and support change management processes. 

Ensure products meet all industry regulatory frameworks and can comply with technical controls to meet the needs of the sensitive data the systems house. 

Customer-Centric Design 

Partner with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive, accessible, and impactful user experiences. 

Conduct user testing and feedback sessions to validate product assumptions and iterate quickly. 

Analytics & Outcomes 

Leverage healthcare data assets to inform product decisions and drive insights across clinical, operational, and financial domains. 

Collaborate with analytics teams to integrate advanced technologies such as natural language processing and agentic AI into product offerings. 

Define KPIs and success metrics for product features. 

Monitor product performance and user engagement to inform future enhancements. 

Business Analysis Support 

Conduct gap analyses and workflow assessments to identify opportunities for improvement. 

Support testing and validation of product features to ensure design integrity and value realization. 

Assist in documenting current and future state processes and data flows. 

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a lead Business Analyst, Product Owner or Product Manager in a healthcare product domain, ideally in a SaaS or analytics-focused environment. 

Proven experience in healthcare or analytics-focused environments. 

Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data structures (e.g., claims, EMR/EHR, quality metrics, risk adjustment), and regulatory considerations. 

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, ADO). 

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. 

Preferred Experience 

Exposure to hospital information systems or healthcare SaaS platforms. 

Background in consulting, healthcare operations, or revenue cycle management. 

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines). 

Experience supporting both external clients and internal consulting teams. 

Background in data analytics, including visualization and reporting tools.

The estimated base salary for this job is $95,000 - $130,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $106,400 - $153,400 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
