Product Owner, User Experience
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Product Owner, User Experience** through **July 8th, 2025** at **11:59 p.m.** ( **CST** ). This role is part of the Sales and Service Technology organization and will be responsible for championing customer-centric design across Customer and Consumer technologies. This role will focus on building intuitive, user-friendly tools that drive adoption and deliver measurable value to both business stakeholders and Downstream Midstream, & Chemicals customers and consumers. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to embed User Experience (UX) best practices into product development, ensuring seamless and impactful user experiences. Passion for innovation, empathy for users, and a strategic mindset are key to success in this role. **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Collaborate with design, technical, and business teams to ensure seamless and impactful user experiences. + Translate business needs into product features that support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. + Encourage experimentation and continuous improvement to evolve product capabilities and user engagement. + Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements from stakeholders and end users. + Conduct basic user research and usability testing to validate product features and enhancements. + Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. + Help maintain product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes. + Coordinate with UX designers to ensure user interface designs align with product goals. + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to digital product development. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. + 2 years of experience in a product support, business analysis, UX, or project coordination role. + Basic understanding of agile methodologies and product development lifecycle. + Strong communication and organizational skills. + Demonstrated interest in user experience and customer-centric design. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Internship or project experience in product management, UX, or digital transformation. + Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or Miro. + Familiarity with journey mapping, user research, or Voice of Customer (VOC) techniques. + Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent entry-level agile training. + Experience working in cross-functional teams or supporting digital product initiatives. **Relocation Options:** _Relocation_ **_may be_** _considered within Chevron parameters._ **International Considerations:** _Expatriate assignments_ **_will not be_** _considered._ Chevron regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited Visa status for this position U.S. Regulatory notice: Chevron is an Equal Opportunity employer.
